Trinidad Kechkian

As a Development Associate, Trinidad Kechkian advances ConnectGen’s portfolio of utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects across the western United States. In this role, Trini supports efforts in permitting, interconnection, stakeholder engagement, environmental surveys, land acquisition, market analysis, and other development milestones.

Trini earned a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment and a BS in Environmental Studies and Global Affairs from Yale University. Her published and award-winning thesis evaluated the equitability of state-level incentive programs for distributed energy resources, highlighting the critical role of policy design in renewable energy deployment.

While at Yale, Trini also worked on a range of clinic projects. For the Natural Resources Defense Council, she reported on the potential for coexistence between the offshore wind and commercial fishing industries in the US. Prior to this experience, she collaborated with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to develop a community-centered climate resilience plan for the state.
