Mark Lawlor is Vice President, Development and co-founder of ConnectGen. He leads the development team in the Western U.S. Prior to ConnectGen, Mark was Vice President at Clean Line Energy Partners where he led the development of hundreds of miles of transmission and a thousand megawatts of wind generation. Before Clean Line Energy, Mark was a developer at Horizon Wind Energy (which later became EDP Renewables) responsible for development in the Midwest.  Before Horizon, Mark was a founding partner in a law firm specializing in renewable energy law. Mark serves as a board member for Interwest Energy Alliance and CalWEA.

He has a Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law with a Certificate in Environmental Law, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Kansas.
